Tour Update Numero the Fourth

Not Here For a Long Time; Here For a Good Time
Vol. IV

Oh, hi. Today's installment finds the band in Lincoln, Nebraska. We're at (surprise) a coffee shop. Sarah "Meat Mouth" Mannix ate a veggie burrito; we're not sure what to make of that.

So it turns out that Bozeman, MT is a really great town. Nice people, nice music stores, and nice breakfast cafes make for a pleasant experience in the middle of nowhere. We played a set at a cool venue called the Zebra Lounge. Here are a couple of songs that you probably haven't heard:

We had a couple of days off before our Denver show, so we put on our hippy hats, bought a bunch of patchouli and granola, and drove to Rocky Mountain National Park. It wouldn't be a drive without a flat tire though, and the universe obliged; we blew the other trailer tire in the middle of nowhere, Wyoming.

On the bright side, our 250 mile drive to buy a new tire afforded us an excellent opportunity to see Wyoming's pretty countryside.

If any of ya'll are in need of road cases for your gear (or jackstands for your trailer), we have indisputable proof that David Earl's custom cases are bulletproof:

We finally made it to RMNP the next day, and once again met up with Michael May the Fast Driver. We pitched our tents at the Long's Peak trailhead campground and hiked up to the site of an old mine, where things got pretty interesting and colorful.

(On a sidenote, Dale's Pale Ale is the best beer in the world. If you don't agree, you're wrong.)

We played the next day in Denver, at Backforty Presents. It was pretty rad; we had an excellent dinner of pesto pasta and Dale's, followed by a lively (if not pared down) set. We met an amazing band from Minneapolis (mostly), called Spirits of the Red City. Besides being nice folks, they sound absolutely amazing. Check it out. Kevin BackForty was kind enough to film some of our performance, here are a couple of vids:
